AFEA Group is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong software development and test automation skills. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain test automation frameworks and solutions that will improve the robustness, stability and reliability of our business process automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Leadership: Mentor and guide QA team members in automation best practices, tools, and techniques.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Reporting: Analyze test results, track bugs, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong proficiency in Java for test automation.
• Solid understanding of OOP
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, and RestAssured.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools for integrating test automation pipelines is preferred.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git/GitHub.
• Experience with database testing and query validation using SQL.

Testing Scope:

• Proficient in testing at all levels: service, integration, and end-to-end.
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in iterative development cycles.
• Solid understanding of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Expertise in test design patterns and best practices for creating maintainable and scalable test suites.
• Skilled in creating comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on requirements, ensuring full coverage of functional and non-functional aspects.

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and in team settings.

Working hours:

• We work 4 days a week from 10 am to 7 pm in our office, Fridays are flexible. (13:00-14:00 lunch time)
