Description:

PASHA Holding is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Senior Data Analyst.  This position is vital for driving strategic decision-making through advanced analytics, enhancing operational efficiency by identifying areas for improvement, supporting business growth with predictive modeling and forecasting, and promoting a data-driven culture across the organization.

Job description:

• Provide high-level data analysis to guide strategic business decisions;
• Develop advanced analytical models to support long-term planning and forecasting;
• Lead complex analytical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;
• Present complex data insights to senior leadership in a clear and impactful manner;
• Develop executive-level dashboards and reports that drive strategic insights;
• Mentor and develop the skills of junior and middle data analysts;
• Collaborate with other departments to identify data needs and opportunities;
• Act as a liaison between the analytics team and other business units;
• Stay at the forefront of data analytics trends and best practices;
• Implement innovative analytical techniques and tools to drive business value;
• Support developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for business performance;
• Use advanced analytics to identify opportunities for operational optimization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field;
• 8 years of overall work experience, at least 4 years of relevant industry experience;
• Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani, English and Russian;
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data analysis programming languages (Python);
• Experience in designing and implementing complex analytical projects;
• Knowledge and experience in applying machine learning and statistical analysis techniques;
• Experience working with different types of databases and data warehouses;
• Understanding of Data Governance and Data Management principles;
• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard building;
• Skills in optimizing and automating analytics processes; 
• Experience with analytical tools (e.g. DataIKU, Alteryx) is advantage.
