• Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
• Planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitoring progress against established schedules.
• Check design documents with design architects, quantity surveyors.
• Visit sites regularly during construction — including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress visits, punch walks, and closeouts — and attend status and coordination meetings.
• Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labor force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work, and overseeing quality control.
• Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.
• Tracks progress of all items involved in the project;
• Maintain regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholder management.
• Communicate with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and others involved in the project.

• Leadership skills and an ability to motivate your team to ensure a high standard of work.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills - for writing and monitoring project plans and schedules and utilizing time and resources effectively.
• Resilience and problem-solving skills - in order to overcome unexpected challenges during the project management process.
• An ability to make decisions under pressure, so that the project can progress.
• Strong attention to detail for conducting site inspections and managing contracts.
• An awareness of health and safety procedures and legislation - for running a safe construction site.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Architecture.
• Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in Luxury fit-out / Residential.
• Fluency in English language.
