Position Summary:

The ERP Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ERP projects, including system upgrades, new module implementations, and integrations with other business systems. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance technical expertise with project management skills, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The ERP Project Manager will work cross-functionally with IT, business departments, and external vendors to manage all phases of the ERP project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

• Lead end-to-end ERP project management, including project scoping, timeline development, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Define project milestones and deliverables, and ensure clear communication of project status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured and delivered.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, senior management, and external consultants to ensure alignment of ERP projects with business goals.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Risk & Change Management:

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them promptly. > Manage project scope changes and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of any timeline, budget, or deliverables changes.

Vendor Engagement & Contracts:

• Oversee relationships with ERP vendors, consultants, and other third-party service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs), and manage vendor performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Testing, Training, & Go-Live Support:

• Ensure thorough testing of ERP modules and functionalities before deployment, including coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop training plans and ensure that users are adequately prepared to use new ERP functionalities after project completion.
• Oversee the system go live and post-support to resolve any immediate issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in ERP project management or IT project management roles.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of ERP systems, project lifecycle management, and risk management techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). ▪ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
