• Preparation of Cash Call and Cash Forecast reports with further sharing between project partners 
• Review and analysis of commercial reporting under the terms of RSA prepared by commercial team for the purposes of financial reporting compilation 
• Analysis and understanding of commercial transactions related to oil sales and conformity with RSA financial reporting requirements and application to IFRS reporting
• Identifying, developing and implementing accrual based accounting and reporting to meet financial and regulatory reporting requirements, map financial reporting processes and modify control procedures, as required
• Responsible for accrual based accounting and financial reporting obligations under the IFRS requirements, close liaise and cooperation with auditors
• Control for proper and timely processing of accounts payable and receivables based on Aging reports;
• Develop account reconciliations, journal entries, data compilation and analyses ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Find and correct mistakes in postings made by accountants to accounting system.
• Assistance in preparation of ad-hoc financial statements and reports to management and project partners at request of line-manager.
• Monitoring of the application of finance policies and procedures, inform line-manager in cases of inconformity.
• Responsible for controlling of cash balances reconciliation performed by junior accountants.
• Training of junior accounting staff if needed.
• Other tasks from line-manager.

NamİZƏDƏ TƏLƏBLƏR

• Detailed knowledge of project RSA and Financial Policies and Procedures of the Company 
• Knowledge of IFRS,and/or other international financial reporting requirements 
• Computer literate and can work effectively with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) basic Sub Systems
• Knowledge of structure of the Company and its management
• Experience in month-end closing and developing accounting processes 
• Good organizational skills and knowledge of the relevant processes within the company 
• Excellent command of Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages

Qualifications:

• Master degree in Finance or Accounting 
• Knowledge and understanding of IFRS reporting requirements
• Working knowledge of oil and gas Production Sharing Agreements or Risk Service Agreements 
• Experience in Big4 companies is highly preferred
•  Minimum of three years experience in the oil and gas industry in similar position.
