Role Description

We’re looking for talented Software Engineers. In this role you will be developing a high performance and scalable application to drive our websites, mobile apps, and partner integrations. We value engineers that are passionate about evolving technologies, communicate with other team members, look to lead the charge, and deliver a quality product and user experience. We want a great coworker in addition to a great coder — you should value open, active collaboration and work well with others, helping teammates who need it, and asking for the help you need in turn.

Responsibilities:

- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, and better assist other team members.
- Taking lead on projects, as needed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of extensive experience developing RESTful services.
- More education or experience may be required.
- Knowledge of SQL (Postgres), Design Patterns, Java, Spring Framework or PHP, Symfony Framework
- Fluency or understanding of specific languages, such as Java, PHP and operating systems may be required.
- Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or with a group.
